Help deserving children start the school year with the necessary supplies by contributing to the KAKE-TV School Supply Landslide July 12 through August 22, 2010. For a list of recommended items, please check
School supplies may be dropped off at KAKE-TV, the Wichita Business Journal, or any of the eight (8) Credit Union of America locations in Wichita. Monetary donations are also accepted. All checks should be made out to "The Salvation Army" with "School Supply Landslide" noted on the memo line at the bottom of the check.
The Salvation Army distributes donated supplies to parents and students in Sedgwick County. For information about eligibility, call 263-2769.

School Supply Landslide began in 1996 as a response to concerns expressed by area educators and parents about children coming to school without the supplies they need. Last year, School Supply Landslide distributed school supplies to over 6,000 Wichita-area students.
