KFBZ ON-LINE “BUZZ BLOX” TOURNAMENT

Contest Rules

 

These contest rules are specific to the above contest (the “Contest”) conducted by Entercom Wichita, LLC d/b/a KFBZ (collectively, the “Station”).   Except to the extent specifically set forth below with respect to this specific Contest, the Station’s general contest rules apply to this Contest as well. A copy of these specific Contest rules and the Station’s general contest rules are available at the Station’s studio at 2120 N. Woodlawn, Suite 352, Wichita, KS, 67208, during regular business hours and on the Contest page on the Station’s website at www.1053thebuzz.com. To the extent that the general contest rules differ from these rules, these rules will govern and control with respect to this Contest.

 

 

1.                    No purchase is necessary to enter or win. 

 

2.                    From 12:00am August 18, 2008 through 11:59pm August 24, 2008, Station will conduct an on-line “Buzz Blox”

Tournament. To enter, potential contestants must first log onto www.1053thebuzz.com, click on the “Buzz Blox” Tournament icon and fill out an entry form with their name, address, city, zip code, e-mail address, and daytime phone number. Contestants will also be asked to select a username and password. Upon completion of the entry form, the contestant will be taken to the game site where they can play “Buzz Blox”. Contestants may play an unlimited number of games in any session and may also log back in using the username and password and play at any time until 11:59pm, August 24, 2008. All scores will be recorded and the contestant with the highest single-game score at the end of the Contest will win the grand prize. In the case of a tie, the winner will be determined by random drawing. The winner will be announced sometime after Noon on Monday, August 25, 2008.

 

 

3.                    Odds of winning depend upon the number of contestants, number of games played, and the skill of the contestants. 

 

4.                    One (1) grand prize will be awarded in this Contest. The verified winner will receive the following prizes, with an

 approximate total value of $314:

 

a)                    One night’s hotel at the Bilene Bed & Breakfast Inn in Abilene, Kansas, for two (2) people.

b)                   2 tickets to any 2008 show at Great Plains Theatre Festival. 

c)                    2 free admissions to Dickinson county Heritage Center.

d)                   2 free admissions to Lebold Mansion.

e)                    2 free admissions to the Eisenhower Museum. 

f)                    $25 gift certificate to Mr. K’s Farmhouse Restaurant. 

g)                   $50 gas card.

 

5.                    As a condition of accepting the prize, winner agrees that any minors taking part in the prize trip will be accompanied by

at least one parent or legal guardian at all times.

 

 

6.                    The sponsors of this Contest are: Entercom Wichita, LLC, and Kansas State Travel and Tourism.

 

 

 

7.                    Station reserves the right to substitute the game and/or the software at any time and for any reason during this Contest

 

8.                    Station is not responsible for any technical difficulties that may prevent an individual from accessing or downloading

the Contest webpage. Stations assumes no responsibility for interrupted or unavailable satellite, network, server, Internet Service Provider (ISP), website, telephone or other connections, availability or accessibility, or miscommunications, or failed computer, satellite, telephone or cable transmissions, or lines, or technical failure or jumbled, garbled, corrupted, scrambled, delayed, or misdirected transmissions, or computer hardware or software or telephone malfunctions, failures, or technical errors or difficulties, or other errors of any kind whether human, mechanical, electronic or network or the incorrect or inaccurate capture of entry or other information or the failure to capture, or loss of, any such information. Station assumes no responsibility for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by website users, or by any equipment or programming associated with or utilized in this Contest; any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect or delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or tampering with or hacking of the website. Station is not responsible for injury or damage to entrants’ or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participating in this Contest or downloading or copying materials from or use of website.
