KFBZ PICK YOUR PURSE - ON-AIR CONTEST

Contest Rules

 

These contest rules are specific to the above contest conducted by Entercom Wichita, LLC d/b/a KFBZ (collectively, the “Station”).   Except to the extent specifically set forth below with respect to this specific contest, the Station’s general contest rules apply to this contest as well. A copy of these specific contest rules and the Station’s general contest rules are available at the Station’s studio at 2120 N. Woodlawn, Suite 352, Wichita, KS, 67208, during regular business hours and on the contest page on the Station’s website at www.1053thebuzz.com. To the extent that the general contest rules differ from these rules, these rules will govern and control with respect to this Contest.

 

 

1.             No purchase is necessary to enter or win. 

 

2.             Weekdays (excluding holidays) from April 21, 2008, through on or about May 9, 2008, Station will conduct the Pick Your Purse match game contest. Station will announce the “cue to call” at or about 10:00am immediately following the conclusion of the Kidd Kraddick In The Morning show, and at or about 4:00pm. When the “cue to call” is announced, caller ten (10) to the Station’s contest line at (316) 436-1053 will be given the opportunity to “turn over” two squares on the Pick Your Purse game board. There will be forty (40) squares on the game board. Game boards are available at www.1053thebuzz.com. Two (2) squares on the game board represent one of twenty-five purses. There are twenty (20) possible matches out of a total of 40 squares. When the caller selects the two squares to turn over, the purse represented by each of those squares will be announced. If the purses associated with each of the contestant’s chosen squares match, the caller wins the purse described. Once a purse is won, its corresponding squares will be “flipped over” and noted on the game board, and will not be available to be turned over by subsequent callers. If the purses DO NOT match, the corresponding squares are both “turned back over” and will be available for selection by subsequent callers. The next time the game is played, a new contestant will call in and attempt to win one of the remaining purses.   If a contestant chooses a square that has already been awarded, or if a contestant chooses two available squares which don’t represent matching purses, they will not be a winner in this contest. Only calls received at the preceding phone number are eligible to participate in this contest.   WARNING: Online listeners to streamed broadcasts may experience a lag in transmissions due to buffering limitations. Contest Participants should not rely on streamed broadcasts.   

 

 

4.        Notwithstanding the above, this contest will automatically end on the earlier of (a) May 2, 2008 or (b) once all of the prizes below have been awarded.   Any unawarded prizes will remain the sole property of the Station.

 

5.     The Internet Advantage: You can check www.1053thebuzz.com to view the game board by clicking on the rules link inside the Pick Your Purse web page. Once purses have been won, those squares on the game board posted on-line will be shown “face up” on their corresponding squares on the game board. On-line game board will be updated no later than immediately prior to the next announcement of the “cue to call”.

 

 

5.     Odds of winning depend upon the order of calls received and the skill of the entrants in picking matching squares correctly.

 

6.     Up to 20 prizes will be awarded in this contest. Each verified winner in this contest will receive one of the following prizes (which will each be assigned randomly to two different squares):
